Dried Amaranthus, Natural Green

Originally these plants came from Mexico. Now Amaranthus hypochondriacus or Prince of Wales Feather is grown in Holland. This versatile dried plant is harvested at peak bloom during July and August, then carefully dried to preserve its natural green colour and structural integrity.

In floristry, these stems are prized for creating depth and visual interest in Autumn and Winter arrangements. The feathery plumes add texture and movement to bouquets, while their sturdy stems provide excellent support for layered designs.

Florists use them as focal points or filler material, depending on the desired aesthetic.
