Cynara is a genus of thistle-like perennial plants in the family Asteraceae. The genus name comes from the Greek kynara, which means "artichoke"

These stems are beautiful and structural, due to the nature of the product each stem is unique in shape and size but we think this adds to their natural beauty. In floristry, cynara works exceptionally well as a focal element in dried arrangements, providing height and architectural interest. Use them to create texture in mixed bouquets, wedding installations, or long-lasting displays. Their sturdy stems hold their form beautifully in vases without water, making them ideal for dried flower designs, wreaths, and event installations that require longevity and visual impact.
