Dried Protea Compacta, Natural, 10 Stem Bunch

Our dried Protea stems originate from South Africa. They are also called Nodding Sugarbush or Arid Sugarbush. The Protea flower is named after Proteus, the son of the Greek God Poseidon. In Greek mythology, Proteus could assume any shape and this is why the Protea was named after him due to the many shapes and colours of the flowers within the species.

Useful Information:

  • Stems within these bunches range from around 20 - 30cm in length
  • Flowers are approximately 4 - 5cm in diameter
  • Bunches contain 10 stems

  • Dried flowers do not require any water.
  • Avoid bright sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Keep away from dampness and moisture.
  • Dried products may last up to two years if looked after correctly.
